Economy of Trust Ukraine (EoTU) is operated by Limited Liability Company «Economy of Trust», which decides how personal data collected through economyoftrustua.com is used (the data controller).

This policy explains what we collect on the website, why, who receives it and what choices you have. It is written to meet the Law of Ukraine «On Personal Data Protection» and, for visitors in the European Union and European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We collect only what you send us through the website and, if you agree, basic information about how the site is used.

If you contact us on behalf of a municipality, company or other organisation, the data relates to you as its representative.
We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising and do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.
The website sets one cookie for every visitor and one more only if you accept analytics.

If you decline, or later change your mind, the analytics identifier is deleted from your browser. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Cookie settingsWe do not use advertising or social media tracking. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google. The newsletter sign-up form is loaded from EmailOctopus, which receives your IP address when the form loads (see section 4). Staff logged in to the site's administration also receive standard WordPress login cookies.
Your data is handled by the EoTU team and by the service providers below, who act on our instructions.

We may also disclose data when Ukrainian law or a lawful request from a public authority requires it.
We are a Ukrainian company, so data you send through the website is received and stored by us in Ukraine.
Two of our service providers are outside Ukraine: EmailOctopus in the United Kingdom (newsletter) and ClickUp in the United States (our CRM). The United Kingdom is a party to the Council of Europe data protection convention (Convention 108). For providers in countries without an equivalent level of protection, we rely on the provider's contractual data protection commitments and, where needed, on the transfer being necessary to handle the request you made to us, as allowed by Article 29 of the Law of Ukraine «On Personal Data Protection» and Chapter V of the GDPR.
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for.

We may keep data longer where Ukrainian law requires it, for example for accounting, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Every page of the website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to stored data is limited to authorised staff.
We keep the website software updated, restrict administrative access and use browser security protections against framing and similar attacks. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the supervisory authority where the law requires it.
You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Depending on where you live, you also have the right to:

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Уповноважений Верховної Ради України з прав людини). If you live in the EU or EEA, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
The website is intended for professionals and organisations and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We will update this policy when the website or the way we use data changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
